๐ฅ TODAY'S HOT NEWS
Chainlink and Mastercard aim to accelerate web3 adoption
On June 24, Mastercard and Chainlink announced a partnership that could change the way billions of people buy cryptocurrencies. The idea? To allow Mastercard cardholders to buy cryptocurrencies directly on the blockchain, without going through complex platforms.
The project is based on an alliance with several players in the digital finance sector: Mastercard is providing its global network, Chainlink its blockchain expertise, and other partners are handling conversion, security, and payment processing.
On the Mastercard side, the enthusiasm is palpable. Raj Dhamodharan, executive vice president of Blockchain & Digital Assets, explains that โusers want to interact more easily with the world of digital assets. Our role is to facilitate this transition by offering simplicity and trust.โ
Ultimately, this could democratize the use of cryptocurrencies and accelerate their adoption. No more need for in-depth knowledge to buy cryptocurrencies: a few clicks will suffice.
This is undoubtedly a significant step toward integrating blockchain into the daily lives of billions of people.
